1. When you first enter the Standard Transfers option a Select An Option window will appear:
Scroll to ADD and press enter to add a new standard planned transfer.
2. When you begin entering data, the Last Changed (the date the standard planned transfer was last updated) and the By (the user’s ID) fields will be populated with the current date and the user's ID.
3. Enter a three digit number to identify the standard planned transfer in the Std No field.
4. At the Like Another (Y/N) field enter Y (Y=yes) to copy from an existing standard planned transfer and then modify the new standard as needed. If you use this option, specify the standard transfer to copy.
5. At the Desc field, enter a description or name for the standard planned transfer.
6. At the To Item field, enter the item group and item of the "finished goods" that your "recipe" will create.

7. Enter the amount of finished goods that will be produced by the standard planned transfer in the Std Qty field.
8. At the Un field press Enter to accept the system default unit of measure for the item or press F3 to display a Select A Unit window to select another unit of measure.
Line Items
Note: If the standard planned transfer is being added using the "profile like another" option, the raw material items will appear in the line detail. See Changing Standard Planned Transfers for information on how to make changes to the line items.
9. At the Item field, enter the item group and item for the raw materials or "ingredients" to be used to create the "to" item. The item name will appear once the item is selected.

10. Enter the amount of the "from" item needed to create the "to" item in the Quantity field.
11. At the Un field press Enter to accept the system default unit of measure for the item or press F3 to display a Select A Unit window to select another unit of measure.
12. Continue adding items as necessary. When completed, the press Enter in a blank Item field. Command options will appear:
Note: If you make a change in Standard Transfer and choose to exit before updating, the system will ask you to "Exit without updating? No/Yes."
Select Update to save the standard planned transfer. The transfer can now be used in planned transfers.
